For Retailers

EuroPriceCheck is an independent price comparison site. We match retailer offers to one specific product using its EAN/GTIN barcode, then show those offers side by side so a shopper can see who sells that exact item and at what price.

Why list your offers with us

• Shoppers arrive with intent. Someone reading a product page has already chosen the item and is deciding where to buy it. Your offer is shown at the moment that decision is being made.
• Your offer sits next to genuine competition. Because products are matched by barcode, a shopper compares like with like instead of scrolling a list of loosely related items.
• Direct traffic to your own product page. Every click goes straight to your site, where you control the basket, the checkout and the customer relationship.
• Your name is shown in full. We display the retailer name on the offer row, not a generic label, so recognisable stores get the benefit of their own brand.

How we treat your listing

• Ranking is not for sale. Offers are ordered by the price shown on the retailer’s page. No retailer can pay to appear higher, and commission rate has no influence on position. Prices in different currencies are not converted.
• Affiliate links are labelled. Outbound links carry rel="sponsored nofollow" and every product page states plainly that we may earn a commission.
• Prices are shown as you publish them. We display the currency you list in and never convert it, so your price is never misrepresented by an exchange rate we chose.
• Prices can change. Retailer prices can move after we list them, so every offer links straight through to your site where the shopper sees your current price and availability.
• We do not invent data. If we do not hold a delivery cost or a stock status, we leave it out rather than guessing.

How to supply your offers

We work with retailers of very different sizes, from a focused specialist catalog to a full department-store range. Three routes are available:

• Product feed — a CSV or XML feed containing product name, brand, model, EAN/GTIN, price, currency, product URL and image URL. This is the most reliable route and keeps prices current.
• Affiliate network — if your programme runs on a network we already work with, we can take your offers from the network feed with no extra work on your side.
• Direct listing — for a smaller catalog we can add products manually from your own product pages.

Whichever route you choose, we need a verifiable EAN/GTIN for each product. Without a barcode we cannot be certain an offer belongs to the same item as the others on the page, and we will not guess.

What we will not do

We will not publish invented traffic figures, conversion rates or audience claims to win a partnership, and you should be wary of any comparison site that does. If you need concrete performance data before committing, get in touch and we will share what we can actually evidence at that point.

Retailer corrections

If you are a retailer and something on EuroPriceCheck about your shop is wrong, you can ask us to fix or remove it. This covers:

• a product matched to the wrong item,
• an outdated or incorrect product URL,
• an incorrect shop name,
• an offer that needs to be corrected or removed.

Email contact@europricecheck.com with the shop name, the product’s EAN/GTIN, the EuroPriceCheck page URL, and the correct product URL, and we will look into it.
