EuroPriceCheck takes part in affiliate marketing programmes. Some of the links that take you from this site to a retailer are affiliate links. If you follow one and buy something, the retailer may pay us a commission. You pay exactly the same price either way.
How we earn money
We do not sell anything ourselves and we do not charge shoppers. Our only source of income from this site is commission paid by retailers through affiliate programmes, currently the AWIN network and, where applicable, direct retailer partnerships.
Commission is paid by the retailer out of its own margin. It is not added to your basket and it does not change the price shown on the retailer’s website.
What an affiliate link does not change
- It does not change the ranking. Offers on a product page are ordered by price. No retailer can pay to appear higher, and the commission rate has no effect on position. Prices in different currencies are not converted.
- It does not change which products we list. A product is published when we hold offers from at least two different retailers for the same EAN/GTIN, regardless of whether those retailers pay commission.
- It does not change the price you pay. The price you see is the price the retailer published in its own feed. Prices can change, so always confirm the final price on the retailer’s site.
How affiliate links are marked
Every outbound offer link on this site carries the HTML attribute rel="sponsored nofollow noopener", which is the standard way of declaring a paid or affiliate link to search engines. On product pages, offer rows that use an affiliate link are also labelled affiliate link in plain text, so you can see it before you click.
Where the purchase happens
EuroPriceCheck never takes payment and never processes an order. Clicking “View offer” takes you to the retailer’s own website, where the retailer’s prices, delivery charges, stock levels, terms and returns policy apply. Always confirm the final price and delivery cost on the retailer’s site before buying.
Cookies set after you click
When you follow an affiliate link, the affiliate network (AWIN) and the retailer may set their own cookies in your browser so that the visit can be attributed to us. Those cookies are set by them, not by EuroPriceCheck, and they are governed by their own privacy policies. We receive only aggregated commission reporting — we do not receive your name, address, payment details or basket contents. This is described in more detail in our Privacy Policy.
